Has the seat in your C5 Corvette seen better days? Does it rock back and forth under acceleration and braking? Does it have a cracked rear aluminum flange? This kit can fix all of your problems and bring back the like new feel of your seat track on your 1997 – 2004 Corvette. The factory rear mounting flanges on the seat track were made of aluminum, and were prone to cracking over time. The new flange included in this kit is made of billet steel and will not fail in the future. Also included in the kit are shims to fix the common rocking back and forth problem with these seats.
The kit includes enough parts to repair one seat and one rear flange. Each seat contains two rear flanges, but typically only one is broken. If you wish to replace both of the rear flanges, you will need two kits per seat. The kits can be found on our website under part# 290522 for the Right Hand (Driver) Side seat, and part# 290523 for the Left Hand (Passenger) Side seat.
The shim kit can also be purchased separately if your only problem is the back and forth rocking motion. It can be found on our website under part# 290300.
