Keen Parts sponsors Street Outlaws New Orleans Racer Shannon Poole

Shannon Poole aka Big Dookie is one of the stars of the new Street Outlaws: New Orleans. This new show follows the trials and tribulations of a group of street racers from New Orleans, Louisiana.
Shannon got his love of Chevy’s and racing from his family. His father Dale took a job at a gas station when he was only ten years old! He saved enough money to buy a 1961 Chevy Impala and later fixed it up as a drag race car. It was no surprise that Shannon followed in his dad’s footsteps at the ripe old age of 13! That was when father Dale bought him his first race car. Shannon’s newest drag car is a 1964 Corvette that he purchased from his father. That’s where Keen Parts comes in.

Shannon’s latest and greatest ride is a shiny red 1964 Corvette, purchased from his father and together converted to a state-of-the-art street racer. Shannon is a talented driver, but he recently had an accident during a race. Shannon is feeling better, but both the nose and rear of the Vette hit pretty hard. Filming for season three of Street Outlaws: New Orleans was starting soon, and the Corvette was looking pretty beat up. Keen Parts to the rescue! Tom Keen heard about Shannon’s problem and offered a 1964 front fiberglass clip. We are proud to say that the next time Shannon wins a race- it will be a Keen Corvette part crossing the line first!
