Here’s a tip for installing seat belt pockets:
To install this seat belt pocket, clamp the lower portion of the pocket into a vise with non-marring jaws.
Make a hook tool out of a metal clothes hanger that is long enough to go through the pocket and still be able to pull the seat belt through. Insert the male latching end into the lower portion of the pocket with the hook tool hooked through the hole on the seat belt assembly.
Using a hair dryer, heat up the pocket while applying light pressure on the hook tool until the seat belt pulls completely through. The pocket material has a memory and will return to its proper shape.
