Hood Support Strut – Telescopic LH Mount

How do I install the C4 Hood Strut?
You may have to open the hood further than its original travel to get the new strut put in place on studs. Get the top of the new strut secured to the hood, then carefully open it out to get the bottom lined up/forced on. You may also want to loosen up the hinges. It is no easy task and definitely requires some helpers. Take 2 people to hold the hood (and try to support it with an additional prop/broomstick inside) while it is detached from the existing strut.
