Tachometer filters were utilized to create smooth, accurate RPM readings and a steady needle sweep by eliminating voltage spikes going to the tachometer. These new reproduction filters are designed to work on 1975-1991 Corvettes – simply splice into your Corvette harness or use the terminal ends that will fit into your original plastic connectors. Tach filters were located on the LH side of the distributor on 1975-1982 Corvette models; behind the distributor on C4 Corvette applications.
