The C1 trunk latches was factory installed in the trunk lid and made to fit correctly with the latch striker, then the cover was installed. The bottom cover holes are attached to the metal latch mechanism so they will always line up. The upper holes were drilled into the trunk lid when the cover was attached. Depending on how the latch was adjusted to fit, the holes’ position will vary in the trunk lid.If you have a mis match, fill in the existing holes and re-drill.
