What is a Core Charge?

A core charge is a refundable deposit applied to certain automotive parts, such as batteries, alternators, and brake calipers, that can be rebuilt or recycled. It’s designed to encourage recycling and remanufacturing.

How does it work?

Once you’ve purchased your new part, send us your old, used part. Once we have received and inspected your old part (the “core”), you will be refunded the amount of the core charge.
