Time and the elements, such as heat and sun, can take their toll on your Corvettes interior. With the added pressure of your arm bearing down on it, the center console door can quickly wear out. There is good news though! Keen Parts has just released a reproduction of the center console door found on all 1990 to 1996 Corvettes. This is the same door used on coupe, convertible, ZR-1, and all special editions. It is available in black, which is the only color that was used for the door, regardless of interior color. This door has the same padded feel as the original, with the textured grain on top. The light assembly and wiring are included, as well as a new latch button and latch spring.
As an added bonus, your original console door plastic bottom, can be switched over to the new reproduction padded top. This is important, because the original console door bottom contained the decal listing all of the original option codes for your Corvette. This console door assembly does not come with the hinge, but your original hinge will transfer over with no problem.
