Shannon Poole, a good friend of Keen Parts and star of The Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings and Street Outlaws: New Orleans does a lot to help anyone in need. If you follow him on Facebook- you can watch him travel to charity events with his cars to sign autographs and raise money for causes. All done at his expense. He is very generous with his time. He mentioned a friend named Charles Key who is having medical issues and needed help to sell a car. We wanted to help Shannon help his friend. The words below are Shannon’s recent Facebook post. You can purchase a raffle ticket for the Nova through PayPal. Details are below.
As of mid-August- it looks like Shannon’s “waffle” is off to a great start as a third of the tickets are already sold!

Charles Key Benefit “Waffle”
HERE IT IS! (Shannon Poole) I’m helping my buddy move this car. 1968 Chevrolet Nova up for raffle.
The Nova features:
- New paint
- 602 Cubic inch BBC
- Nitrous motor
- Single carburetor
- Powerglide transmission
- Induction Solutions single fogger
- Nitrous progressive
The car is ready to race. Motor and car are fresh. The car has to go due to medical reasons.
For all the don’t understand how this “waffle” works, here it is. I own this car now. By donating $125, you will occupy a number on the list of 325 spots. When the 325 donations are received, I will donate the money to my friend Charles to help cover his medical bills. I then will give the Nova to one of the people who donated. Plain and simple.
Waffle tickets are $125 per spot with a total of 325 spots to be sold.
